Castles and Dragons!
What are we up to this term?
The theme this term in Acorns class is 'Castles and Dragons'.
We started off the term with a mysterious delivery of Dragon Eggs to inspire and excite the children, ready to write their own dragon descriptions and warning tales in English.
In History, the children have been looking at different castles and learning about their features, before going on to design their own protective castle. They will also be learning about British monarchs and the values that make a good monarch.
The children will end the term with a trip to Nunney Castle where they will dress up and role play monarchs, dragons and knights!
