40 For The Federation!
Fundraising walk for Stoke & Croscombe schools & Little Roots Pre-School
40 for the Federation! is a fundraising walk to raise money for our Federation and Little Roots Pre-School, to help improve the playground experience for the children. The challenge is for participants to complete on foot 42km/26miles.
It is being organised by David & Tam Richardson-Aitken, whose children attend Stoke school. They are also being supported by the staff, FOCs, PTA and communities of both Croscombe & Stoke schools and Little Roots Pre-School, as well as the wider village communities.
There are two different events: a Live Event on 25th September 2021 and a Virtual event that runs from 1st September - 26th September 2021. Each event is limited to 50 participants and all participants will be awarded a medal to commemorate their achievements!
There is a £10 entrance fee and a minimum fundraising target of £30 per entrant (£40 in total!). Participants are actively encouraged however, to raise as much sponsorship money as they can - with prizes being awarded to the people who raise the most!
For more information or to enter please email croscombe@educ.somerset.gov.uk or to make a donation please visit the JustGiving page: hwww.justgiving.com/crowdfunding/40forthefederation.
NB: If you are sponsoring a walker please remember to add their name in the comments box so we can track how much they have raised!
And a big thank you to Wainwright for sponsoring this event!
