Chick Chick Chickens
School rescues ex battery chickens
We have welcomed three new rescue hens from the British Hen Welfare Trust!
The chickens are well loved by the pupils who take responsibility for their welfare with support from Christa, our Key Stage 2 HLTA.
Owl class are in charge of feeding, looking for eggs and welfare checks. These are all key jobs that teaches qualities such as responsibility and being caring as well as aiding the understanding of the animal and plant lifecycle.
