Understanding The World
In Acorns History and Science class, they have been discussing and participating in fun activities to gain a better understanding of the world!
Have you ever played Jacks? Acorns have!
In History / Understanding the World, Acorns class have been talking about 'Toys in the past'. Mrs Chester and Mrs Malone showed Acorns children how to play this playground game and they all had a go.
They have been looking at and studying a variety of materials in Science / Understanding the World. They used hoops to sort them into groups and talked about why certain materials are used for certain objects. They 'magpied' new words such as flexible, stretch and hygienic.
