What a wild week for weather!

A great opportunity for Acorns class to start their science lessons this term.

The children in Acorns class had a practical start to their science lessons this term as we were treated to a very light dusting of snow!

The children have been using apparatus to measure different aspects of the weather such as temperature, wind speed, wind direction and rainfall. They then made their own wind sock and took it outside to play in the breeze.

The children will be observing seasonal changes around the school as we move into spring. They will be observing the tree outside their classroom and eagerly awaiting the blossom.
