Jess noticed some instructions in her non-fiction reading book, explaining how to make a soldier's tin hat from papier-mâché and asked if we could make one.
One hour later, balloons were being blown up, heads were being measured and compass skills employed for creating concentric circles. After that, lots of sticky hands were busy making soldier's hats. I wonder how they will turn out?...
