Lino Printing
Art, Science & Literature come together!
Owl Class read the book 'The Man Who Planted Trees' by Jean Giono. This allegorical story prompted a lot of animated discussion about the environment.
Owl Class were also intrigued by the wood engravings by Michael McCurdy that illustrate the book. These prompted us to have a go at foam, followed by lino engraving and printing. Can you recognise any of these designs?
Thank you very much to the art society who kindly purchased all of the equipment for this project for the whole school.
