Creating a Sculpture in Maths Class!
Owl class were inspired by Anothony Gormley and created a free-standing sculpture.
Owl Class looked at some of the sculptures of Antony Gormley and thought about shape and balance, in Maths. After that, they decided to create their own sculpture with open cubes and open prisms.
This proved a lot more challenging than they thought! The children demonstrated great perseverance by not giving up when the sculptures weren't standing.
