Busy little Acorns!
A busy last week for Acorns!
This week Acorns completed our study on Andy Warhol by printing their own portraits.
We also had a treat by watching a live performance of 'Giraffes can't Dance' by the Year 12 BTEC Performing Arts students at Strode College. It was the first time they ever attempted a live link up for a performance before and the students very first performance at Strode. The children loved it , especially the interactive dancing. After the show the class drew pictures and wrote thank you messages which were sent to the college students.
We also watched a Halloween and Fire Safety video and the children practised how to do 'stop, drop, roll' and learnt what number to use in an emergency.
We will all need a rest during half term after our very busy week!
